I have only seen Sandhill Cranes go over my property a couple of times in
the 30 years we have lived here. This week....2 times.
1) Christmas Day mid afternoon 2 small flocks flew SW low across the sky.
Total number was maybe 100.
2) Today (12/2722) 2 large and one smaller flock flew SW low across the
sky. There had to be well over 250.
I'm just curious if anyone knows where they have come from and where they
may be going.
I live just south of Walton off US25 (Kenton County).
