My son-in-law saw two flocks of Sandhill Cranes fly over his farm in Southern Jefferson County, near the Jefferson Forrest, this afternoon. The first flock shortly after noon had between 250-300 birds and the 2nd late in the afternoon had about 75. There were between 450-500 Ring-billed Gulls on the Ohio River above McAlpine Dam this afternoon and a lot of water.
