Nicole Ranalli just called to report a juv. White Ibis at the north end of Mitchell Lake, Ballard WMA. It was visible from the dirt lane at the goose banding station and was in the vicinity of a nice group of Pectoral Sandpipers. She also reported Stilt Sandpipers and a Wilson's Snipe among commoner species. One has to wonder if the ibis might be David's disappearing bird from Lake No. 9 last week .... bpb, Louisville ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== The BIRDKY Mailing List requires you to sign your messages with first & last name, city, & state abbreviation. -------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Kentucky Ornithological Society web site at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison, Richmond, KY E-mail: gary.ritchison@xxxxxxx
