This comes second-hand from David Roemer via Mark Bennett:
David Roemer called me just now.
David's Message
"Last night at 7:00 a juv white Ibis and a juv Tri-colored Heron were
observed at south end of lake 9 in Fulton County. The lake is nearly dry and
birds are not roosting there. These birds were in the company of about 75
common waders including, snowys, little blues, and great egrets.
This AM at 8:00 AM CDT 35 egrets where present and a juv. Roseate Spoonbill
flew over from south, circled over the south end of the lake, flew to the
north end of the lake then flew south into TN and was not re-observed.
Most other locations are essentially dry. Timing and luck will be required
to see these.
