[birdky] Paddling with the Pelicans

Hap and I kayaked around, under, and behind an estimated 500 American white
pelicans in Blood River. The lone shorebird, a WESTERN SANDPIPER, was busy on
the little bit of shoreline left after the rise in lake levels.
In addition:
Bald eagle (immature)
Great egret
Bonaparte's gulls
N. pintail
A. widgeons
Gadwalls
Mallards
A flock of yellow-rumps along the shore
