Not much in the way of mudflats, so only killdeer to report for shorebirds. However, there are over 500 American White Pelicans with their breeding knobs on their bills floating and gliding over the bay. At first I thought I was hearing Fish Crow, but discovered it was pelican chatter. Also 10 Ruddy Ducks swimming with 10 Buffleheads. Yesterday, I kayaked the back streams in search of gnatcatchers or warblers. Nothing but woodpeckers showed up. I hung up my hummingbird feeder anyway.
