A quick stop at Jonathan Creek (Ky. Lake) revealed 14 herring gulls on a log plus two fish crows and a very sad view of a great egret entangled in a fish line. I tried to get to the egret, but without a kayak I could not. I will worry about it all night. Melissa Easley Murray, Ky.
