Yesterday I drove up to the dam on Green River Lake. I got a new lens for my scope giving me much better magnification. Present were a few Common Mergansers, a pair of Hooded Mergansers, a few Lesser Scaup and the ubiquitous Ring-billed Gulls. Much of the lake was frozen over. What was humorous was a small open pool with 31 Pied-billed Grebes inside. -- Lloyd C.
