Mom was very visible and photogenic, in the cavity, this morning. I was
busy through the day and didn’t get another look until late this
afternoon. I found her out of the cavity and in a nearby tree, looking
impatient to get on with business. The cavity was in shadow but there was
enough light to make out three restless little ones, taking turns looking

GHOW were on the same snag about 300 yards northwest of our property (~11
hours apart).
This is the second year in a row that the owls have hatched three owlets.
