I saw an eagle about mile marker 15 on the Mountain Parkway Saturday that I am
fairly certain was a Golden Eagle. It was pretty much just a silhouette on a
gray background but it soared slightly dihedral and its head didn't seem to
project as far as a Bald Eagles. There was no apparent white on the bird, but
again the lighting was poor and I didn't stop due to traffic.
