While hunkered down at the Lakeview Shelter monitoring construction activities
and Osprey nests at Eggner's Ferry, I heard a loon yesterday. At least I
thought I did, but discounted to my mind playing tricks on me. Then today, out
near the marina visible from the shore at the Kenlake Tennis Center, I observed
a breeding plumage Common Loon. Is this late? I have a pic but am limited on
zoom. Please, someone come verify it before Brainard tells me I'm way off :)
