I wanted to share the results of our 2019 Kentucky Bald Eagle Nest Count. A
detailed report is available upon request.
It was a great year for bald eagles in Kentucky! Growth in bald eagle nest
numbers continued with 187 nests documented. Nineteen new territories (where
eagles had not been documented in any previous years) were established or
located in 2019, many of which were in central and eastern Kentucky!
