I wanted to share the results of our 2018 Kentucky Bald Eagle Nest Count. A
detailed report is available upon request.
It was a great year for bald eagles in Kentucky! Growth in bald eagle nest
numbers continued in 2018, with 174 nests documented. Sixteen new territories
(where eagles have not been documented in any previous years) were established
or located in 2018, many of which were in central and eastern Kentucky!
