Tom,
Great image of Saturn.
Even though Saturn's rings will be less than optimal for viewing, it
presents a great opportunity to see Titan and it's shadow.
This will also make for some good images, if you are so inclined.
Try these dates ...... The times and altitude above the horizon are
approximate.
March 12, 2009 from 2:50 AM to 5:40 AM (47 degrees to 13 degrees above the
horizon)
March 28, 2009 from 1:45 AM to 5:10 AM (47 degrees to 5 degrees above the
horizon)
April 13, 2009 from 12:30 AM to 4:10 AM (49 degrees to 5 degrees above the
horizon)
April 28, 2009 from 11:30 PM to April 29, 2009 at 3:00 AM (48 degrees to 5
degrees above the horizon)
May 14, 2009 from 10:30 PM to May 15, 2009 at 2:00 AM (48 degrees to 5
degrees above the horizon)
May 30, 2009 from 9:45PM to May 31, 2009 at 1:00 AM (45 degrees to 5 degrees
above the horizon)
June 15, 2009 from 8:55 PM to 11:55 PM (42 degrees to 5 degrees above the
horizon)
July 1, 2009 from 8:00 PM to 10:55 PM (41 degrees to 5 degrees above the
horizon)
July 17, 2009 from 8:00 PM to 9:55 PM (29 degrees to 5 degrees above the
horizon)
August 2, 2009 from 7:45 PM to 8:55 PM (20 degrees to 5 degrees above the
horizon)

A few days ago, Saturn's rings reached their minimum inclination. Here's an
image of the planet with Titan nearby taken on the morning of December 30
with my 10-inch scope in Tempe.
