[AZ-Observing] Comet V1 NEAT survives perihelion

     Comet 2002 V1 (NEAT), which many of us watched pass perihelion in
SOHO images, seems to have survived coming within 0.1 AU of the Sun.
It's been observed by southern-hemisphere amateurs in the past week 
fading fast at about mag. 11.  It's still well south and only 35 deg
from the Sun, so may not be visible from the northern hemisphere.
