Open source documentation is user documentation for open source software. In
IT, open source software is developed by open source (volunteer) developers.
It is a software product like Libre Office or Open Office which is a product
which might need documentation. See
http://www.odfauthors.org/libreoffice... You download the software for
your PC, play around with it and write
documentation for it. There is usually a documentation coordinator manager
that you can get in touch with or a community mailing list like this one.

Is everything clear so far?
Cheers,
PK
