Don't know the answer myself, Alex (N) as I am yet to regularly use that
OS and Word version combination.

You would, however, be wise to check out the Word Most Valued
Professional(s) MVP Web site @ <http://word.mvps.org/> "A repository
for Frequently Asked Questions pertaining to Microsoft Word, maintained
by the Microsoft Word MVPs.".

Also, the MVPS.ORG home page might be worth a visit @
<http://www.mvps.org/>, from where you will find a link to Mark
Salloway's Windows XP Resource Center <http://www.mvps.org/marksxp/>
"A site dedicated to thorough step-by-step walkthroughs designed to fix
common problems and issues seen by users of Windows XP.".

That aside, good to hear that you're having so much success with AdAware.
I got my R&D team leader here onto it and he scanned his dad's home PC
with it, finding (then removing) around 460 pieces of installed spyware.
Ouch!

Whether you use SpyBot or AdAware, it's essential to have something
and the competition for your custom keeps them both improving.

In the software business, as in any other "ecosystem", biodiversity
is vital.

Support your local software provider and help them to grow and prosper!
(If only so that they can afford to employ more Technical Communicators.)

What comes around ...
