Yes, the legal profession was really what kept WP alive for one simple reason - paragraph numbering. Quite simply, it works, and it stays working, and numbers are *very* important for contracts, etc. I used WPv5.1 for DOS and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to it now if I didn't have to consider interoperability. I only ever looked at early Windows versions of WP and they were a nightmare - a real shame.
