Hi Marg - I agree with Michael and the others--Word 2000 is reasonably stable and capable compared with other versions. Word 2002 added clutter but nothing useful I could see to outweigh the pain of upgrading. They rearranged some options so that when I do use Word 2002 I have that "where did they hide it again?" experience. I like Outlook, though these days I don't use many of its other features--just the mail client. It's overkill for that, but I'm used to it. When I get time I'll try Thunderbird, the mail client from the Firefox people. --- Stuart Burnfield Information Developer Australian Programming Centre ************************************************** To post a message to austechwriter, send the message to austechwriter@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe to austechwriter, send a message to austechwriter-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "subscribe" in the Subject field.
