My calc took into account 11 months of 22 days at 8 hrs a day to obtain an approximate hourly rat if working for a full year (assuming that the $75k offered was on an annual basis). There is a fondness in Melbourne for "fixed term contracts" where you will be paid for annual leave, sickies and public holidays that fall within the contract period - but these are usually of several years duration. They are probably trying this trick on a much shorter term contract and may be excluding sickies and public holidays. They should in fairness be quoting an hourly rate. I can't see anything about "annual leave" -- it's still a temporary contract, after all. No sick leave, either.
