Ahhh, don't you just love it - how to get a contractor to work at salary
rates! Looks like the disease has now spread from government to corporate.
Anyone got a calculator to work out the hourly rate?
i suppose there must be someone out there who gets excited at the prospect
of being exploited. ;-)

Our Training & Performance Enhancement department currently have an exciting
opportunity for an experienced technical writer to join their team, located
at our state of the art offices at QV in Melbourne.
Reporting to the Courseware & Projects Manager, you will perform a range of
tasks associated with developing and maintaining documentation for local &
mainframe environments and associated technical training materials. This
will include performing amendments to existing publications, developing new
user & system documentation and assisting in the implementation of
courseware to support our business objectives. An additional key component
of this role is administering and supporting system-training environments.
You will use your exemplary relationship management skills to gather
relevant data from a wide variety of stakeholders, such as system owners,
vendors and internal departments. Your proven success in technical writing,
having authored operational & maintenance documentation will see you excel
in this role, as will your high attention to detail. Ideally, you have
exposure to systems training and have taken ownership over the integrity of
supporting training documentation.
