Well Peter (Rule), First make a copy of your document file to work on or back up the original. In Word 2000: Edit > Links to display the Links dialog. Select the graphics that you want. Click Save picture in document. Click OK. Or Tools > Options > View tab Select Field codes. Click OK. Edit > Replace (Ctrl+H) Remove the \d character from all your graphics links. Tools > Options > View tab Deselect Field codes. Click OK. File > Print Preview Press Ctrl+A (Select All) Press F9 (update fields) Acknowledge all update requests. Press Ctrl+S (Save). Press Escape to return to the document. Should include all in file. Caution: file size could become mammoth and need to be compressed as a ZIP file for distribution. My recommendation, however, would be to create an Acrobat file and distribute that instead, thereby maintaining the integrity of and version control for your original Word document. Hope that helps. I want to globally change the linked images into embedded images; so that I can distribute the file as 1 (rather than having to include the images with the file when distributed). Can anyone give me a simple solution for this. Cheers, Pete ###################################################################### Attention:=20 The information in this electronic mail is privileged and confidential, intended only for use of the individual or entity named.
