Hi everybody

I have problem with making RGB profile. I always get colored background, white
is not white. I have the same problem on several printers.
Command is always the same:
"colprof -v -D"name" -qm -bh -cmt -dpp -ssRGB.icm -Oname"

please advice

What do you get, when you convert the CIELAB triple 100,0,0 to RGB by applying
the profile?

e.g.

icclu -fb -ir -pl <profile>.icm
100 0 0
100.000000 0.000000 0.000000 [Lab] -> Lut -> 0.999972 0.999983 0.999992 [RGB]

If this results in RGB numbers very close to (1,1,1), then it might be rather a
matter of the way how your particular workflow applies the profile.

[ Btw, even for sRGB, icclu does not yield exactly (1,1,1), but there seems to
be a small numerical inaccuracy. 0.9999 instead of 1.0 should not be noticeable
though. ]

Best Regards,
Gerhard
