I want to calculate how many colors was clipped when I encode an image
in a standard color space and then I print it with colorimetric
relative intent.

I'm not sure what intent is better to use in iccgamut for my case,
relative or absolute? I have tried both, but with absolute intent the
results are strange (see attachment): using the -i option with viewgam
seems that sRGB can encode more colors than Adobe RGB (68% vs 62%).

What is the best method to obtain accurate results in my case?

Why this results with absolute intent?

Thank you
Marco
