Greg,

As far as I know, you can't copy from URL field, just from the hotlist,
an email, or web page--from something that has a link highlighted. Just
right click on the link to select, then open whatever document you
want with the editor (the internal Arachne one will work for this)
then middle click and the saved url will be written at the cursor
posiition.
