- Gloria - the results of my biopsy is that the bladder cancer is
non-invasive and I will be undergoing immunotherapy

- Ann - Donna not feeling well enough to be here today. Continue to pray
for Terri.
- Bob Knipe - my dad is back to work and my mom has applied for a job.
- Stacy V. - my mother had a biopsy and received encouraging news.
- Peggy - George will be having outpatient surgery for a small skin
cancer. He continues to receive PTSD treatment.
- Pam - pray for my friend Jack in California who has been dealing with
depression and has finally been able to enter counseling.
- Janice - Marcia's mother (Gerdena “Gerrie” Dykstra,
<http://www.dudgeonmcculley.com/obits/obituary.php?id=635835> 96) passed
away on Feb 14 after struggling with health issues since the end of last
year. Marcia Craig traveled to Iowa for services.
- Natalie - the children's grandmother has been recently diagnosed with
cancer.
- Edith - I am visiting from Minnesota while my husband is working in
the Dominican Republic. Pray that our children will have faith in Christ.
- Rebecca - pray for our daughter, Dana.
- Dolly - my dad's best friend has left a wonderful legacy. He was able
to buy land in Pennsylvania and designate it for a nature preserve.
- Miguel - my mother turned 80. My father in law (Stacey's father) had
brain surgery and is recovering and slowly improving.
- Lee - update on Terri - continuing to manage pain, some days better
than others, appetite is down a bit. Thank you for your prayers and support
in many ways.
- Lee - Ronald had outpatient surgery this week and has ongoing health
issues related to diabetes. He is back in the ER this evening.

*9:30am* - Beginning of the spring Sunday school quarter. The theme of the
children and youth classes is “God’s Good News.” The adult Sunday school
class will hear from Steve Friesen about “Encounters along the Pacific Rim:
Philippines, Korea, and Japan.” Steve is thinking of focusing on the
Philippines, and possibly adding something about the Tomb of Jesus in
northern Japan.
*10:30am* - Coffee, snacks.
*11am* - Worship - first Sunday of Lent, the season leading up to Easter.
The theme is “Restore us, O God.” Jen Graber will be preaching. Open
communion.
*Noon -* Potluck meal followed by a *congregational meeting* to consider
several items: 1. affirmation of a resolution being considered at the 2017
Mennonite Church USA Convention – “Seeking Peace in Israel and Palestine,”
2. a Coordinating Council recommendation to renovate the main bathrooms to
make them handicap accessible, 3. a recommendation from the Deacons to call
Pastor Lee Lever for another 3 year term. *Contact Stacy Vlasits if you
have additional agenda for the congregational meeting.*
