You may be like me and feel like you 'should' be calling your senator or
congressperson and confused by all of the different numbers of districts
and who is State and who is US. Often when I think of calling I stop and am
frustrated because I am not sure who is who. Well, I just found a great
solution and want to save anyone else some time of trying to find it.

On this website is a form where you can put in your address and zip code.
It then returns with all of the information about your senators and
representatives! It even has a map with the numbers of each of your
districts. I am in 1 for City Council, 5 for School Board, 25 for
congressional, 46 for house and 14 for Senate. No wonder it is
frustrating! Now I have put each of my representatives into my phone
address book so that I can easily call them without always having to look
them up. I am hoping it will help me to call more often.

p.s. I have actually called a few times recently and it is actually really
easy. You do not have to argue your point. They just take note of your
address and phone number and your message. Today I called my state rep-
Dawna Dukes and talked to her aid asking her to do whatever she can to
protect the environment. Of course, she agrees with me, so that was a very
positive call, but even when I have called John Cornyn's office it is just
a matter of basically leaving a message.
