Good morning Roland

I understand paying a fee for software transfer [if its reasonable] but
personally I'm not sold on the idea of a transfer fee for a machine [or
its OS]. To me, if buying a machine requires a $600 transfer fee ....
then that machine is worth $600 less when I buy it.

Any of the machines I am familiar with do not charge a "transfer fee" on
used machines. Are there other brands of machines which charge a machine
transfer fee if the machine is bought privately ?

And you are right .. the world is full of "lifetime warranty" deals
which carry a lot of fine print. Maybe Melco is one of those companies
where we should read the fine print before we buy one of their machines
[new or used].

Have a great day.

Bob
