Sorry for using the term "thing" but I don't know what the deuce it's actually
called. We have noticed since we got our machine, that when we do the 4,000,000
stitch maintenance and remove the needle plate, there is a ton of thread
wrapped around the rod thing behind the bobbin case thing....not actually in
where the bobbin case sits, but behind the part where the bobbin case goes in.

Is this something we have to just check constantly or is there something off
with our machine? If you have any idea what I'm referring to I'd appreciate
some advice because this has been happening since we got the machine (we've had
it less than a year).
