We use a slimline clamping hoop.  You can also us a fast frame.  FF are less 
expensive.  Slimline are great.  Go to HoopTec or just put slimline in search 
and it should show up.  They are useful for all kinds of things.  I also stitch 
from the center out because they wripple.  Mostly on names.  I am a twins mom 
also.
