Bob, OK, I have returned from the wilderness of no internet and mobile phones, where I had a chance to test the new power fail recovery on an XT and original AMAYA With machine on and OS operating, I disconnected the power to both the PC and machine, the repowered. When the machine was powered up again, the needle which was being used and was still down, raised then the machine performed a trim, and found needle 1 before returning to sewing needle. Opened OS, and the software connected to the machine and reloaded design. Pressed start button, and the machine continued to sew from where it had stopped, with the stitch number in the OS software being recovered, and design continued without fault. Power fail recovery was great. Cheers David Anderson Keband Australasia Pty. Ltd. 18 Daphne Cres, Hurstbridge. Did I misunderstand the dealer or is there perhaps some other "quick" restart stitching procedure ? Thanks Bob .
