Looking at your photo
you are stitching on a textured dri weave material.
this is prone to moving and needs to be stabilized
your photo shows you are trying to save money using stabilizer too small for
your hoop. Your results are partly from this.
You can see the horizontal pull in the backing and that is where you do not
have your backing in the hoop.
use the proper size backing hooped tightly and this may go away.
also
a very small amount of spray adhesive in the center of your backing will do
wonders also.
