Now for a completely different subject: networking. I have been approached by one networking group (BNI) and have gone to a couple of meetings to see how that works. A friend in a different area belongs to the Chamber of Commerce and has been really happy with the increased business she has gotten from belonging to it and it's networking group. I have already joined the Rocky Mountain Indian Chamber of Commerce, because it will help me with the issues of getting certified as a minority business, etc., etc., but in the Denver area there are more than one networking businesses (like BNI, that have groups), more than one kind of C of C (women's and the regular one), etc., etc. The price of the networking groups is large enough that it makes me wonder what is the best place to spend my (non- existent right now) money to generate business. Anyone have experience with this? I have a friend who started a computer business and we are both visiting these groups and wrestling with the decision of what to do or whether to do anything more than we already do.
