Our 'maintainence' kit in Jan. came with a package of rubber 'X's...slide them 
over the tube and they go inside the Madeira cones and hold them secure-or they 
also work to hold the small spools up instead of having to put on or take off 
the cardboard coasters! Double duty-never have to take them off.
