Rod,
I believe that the largest window available for this system is a 6" x
7.5".
Although you must take into consideration the hoop limits which default at
.5" per side. So really the sew field for this window is 5"x6.5". I don't
know how big your banners are but this would be something to consider. I
was fortunate to have someone let me borrow one before I made the decision
to buy one. As I understand it, this system has only been available for
about 3 years or so. It's possible they might make revised versions of it
down the line so that clearance won't be as much of an issue.
We just sewed some very large pieces of luggage the other day and the
embroidery came out looking great. Of course we charged a little under $20
bucks per piece. Like I said before, plan ahead...
Ed

Hi Karen,

I found many hits on google to "hoop tech" as well. I did not find any
'hits' relating to the to the AMAYA and TCS2. I THINK I read somewhere
that the clearance problem could cause the needle case to be pushed off if
the Y-Axis moves forward while the handle is up.

I am somewhat surprised at the lack of response so far. I was hoping to
hear from someone using TSC2 (or TSC1) on the AMAYA and how any problems
were overcome. I don't want to purchase the TSC2 and find out I can't use
it.

Well, it is a new post and it's early yet. Maybe there will be some
activity this week after recovery from all the BBQ's and fishing trips for
Father's Day. :-)

How do you like using the TSC2? What do you use it on?

I am looking to do some banners that are longer than the sew field on the
AMAYA and I thought the clamping system would work best.

Bset Regards,
