Roland,

If other images convert, it may something unique to the graphic itself. Send it to me and let me look at it. If it shows in the tree and has Vector Fill Objects, try converting only a portion of the objects, not all of them at once. Perhaps there is one object that is driving it nuts?

Also, for best results, converting an entire graphic in Auto Mode is not always going to produce the best results. The Auto Digitizing is a Tool to Aid in the conversion process, not a replacement for good digitizing. I find to make sure I make a good design, it is best to convert each piece. and as it is converting, choose the type of element, either Fill, Column, etc. that I want it to be as it converts each of the Vector objects. In this manner you control what is converted, to what it is converted to, and reduces editing time later.

Am I doing something wrong? I have a graphic image (from Vector collection)
in both ai (.art) and eps format. Opened up in Designshop pro, can see the
image perfectly, and in project tree it is all 'vector fill'....and
following the book, page 246, every time I try to convert it...the program
crashes and shuts down. I don't even get the 'stitch vector object'
button-it is now called something else-and crashes it.
I need to get this done for a wedding next weekend....and havent' got the
time to sit and manually 'copy' it from scratch.
Is this another bug/glitch in the upgraded Designshop I've found?
anyone with any ideas let me know-I'll be pretty much gone from the office
until monday morning so leave me a direct email!
