  Sally,

Try opening the pdf document from within Kurzweil. In other words, first open
Kurzweil, then using the open file dialog box, locate the document and attempt
to access it. If you encounter the same error, you will need additional
assistance. I recommend contacting k1000 tech support at 800-547-6747.

The command for virtualizing a window has changed. Alt + insert + w should do
the trick.

  Hi Scott,

Thankyou for your answer, but I am still having trouble. I have the Error
Message from Kurzweil:

  KESI Virtual Printer Error

The virtual printer does not support spooling.

Go to the KESI's virtual printer's Control Panel and choose Advanced Taband
select "Print directly to the printer"

Is this what I would want? I cancelled the print on paper.

Also, are there different commands for virtualizing a window? I tried the
Insert plus Control plus W with no success.

  Thanks,

  Sally

    Sally,

Print the document into Kurzweil directly using the Kesi virtual printer.
Open the pdf in Adobe, then press ctrl p, arrow up or down to locate the Kesi
virtual printer, and press enter. This will send the document to Kurzweil as if
you were scanning a physical document with a flatbed scanner

    Hello,

Can anyone tell me how to read an Adobe document (the whole newsletter)
that has no tags.

I have tried saving as text but still can't seem to open it.

Now I have printedthe whole newsletter and will try to scan it with
Kurzweil. This gets much of the newsletter, but surely someone knows of an
easier way?

    Thanks,

    Sally
