[adaptivetec] Reading Adobe document with no tags

Hello,
Can anyone tell me how to read an Adobe document (the whole newsletter) that
has no tags.
I have tried saving as text but still can't seem to open it.
Now I have printed the whole newsletter and will try to scan it with Kurzweil.
This gets much of the newsletter, but surely someone knows of an easier way?
