Tek Talk Archives description:

Press Release: VarioUltra

VarioUltra is a brand new braille display from German manufacturer BAUM
Retec. Established 35 years ago, BAUM has been producing high quality devices
for more than 20 years.

Key things you should know:

1. VarioUltra is both a braille display and a braille notetaker.
2. In braille display mode, VarioUltra can connect with up to 5 devices
simultaneously via 1 USB port and 4 channels of Bluetooth.
3. In braille notetaker mode, VarioUltra provides access to a suite of apps
including a word processor, a spreadsheet viewer, a PDF document viewer, a
calculator, a file manager, and a variety of clock and alarm tools.
4. There are two sizes available: 20 or 40 refreshable braille cells. Both
models feature brushed aluminum construction which results in a device that
is both robust and lightweight.

BAUM USA President, David Bradburn, will be speaking with us today about
VarioUltra, and demonstrating some of its capabilities as both a braille
display and a braille notetaker. As some of you know, VarioUltra was
originally scheduled to ship by the end of July and was subsequently delayed.
David will be addressing this delay as part of today's discussion.

Additional information about VarioUltra can be obtained on the product web
page at www.varioultra.com, on the company web page at www.baumusa.com, by
calling toll free to (855) 620-7985, or by emailing to info@xxxxxxxxxxx.

Presenter: David Bradburn, Sales Manager, USA.
