I would buy no version at all, not yet. wait until the service pack 1 is released. at the moment Vista seems to have a few bugs and I can see little reason for getting rid of XP. I'm currently using a Compaq dv1000 laptop, which came with xp home pre-installed. It had no xp installation disk with it, but instead had a partitioned drive with the recovery software in there. There is a hp utility which will allow me to revert the pc back to how it was when I bought it. Do I have a OEM version of xp? If I do, and wanted to buy vista home premium, which one do I need to buy. Is it the upgrade version? Does the version I need to buy have to have OEM in the title? Hey look, I'm tired, so sorry for the hap hazard way that was written. Any help appreciated. terry __________ NOD32 2424 (20070726) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
