Hi.

To find out if spamguard is on or off, follow steps 1 to 3 below. Search for the word spamguard and you'll find a button or link to toggle it on or off.

Regards.

is spamguard switched off by default, then? I get about 100 junk emails per day but I swear it used to be about 400. How do I find out if my spam eating device is on as a BT Yahoo customer?

Appreciated.

Hi Alex.

I'm guessing that you're talking about BT's spam filtering known as spamguard. Spamguard is left off as a default and so it shouldn't sweep up any of Steve's e-mails or any other e-mails it regards as potential spam.

If Steve sends you an e-mail and it doesn't reach you.
1. Go to www.btyahoo.com and login with your e-mail address and password
2. Locate the mail link and press enter.
3. Locate the bulk mail link and press enter.
4. Now keep hitting the F key until you get to the checkbox immediately above Steve's e-mail
5. Locate the link on the e-mail subject line and press enter
6. Press the F key until you find the 'not spam' button
7. Press enter and you've now trained spamguard to stop treating Steve's e-mails as spam

If you're not talking about spamguard, I hope the above is of some use in the future anyway.

Regards.

Subject: [access-uk] unblocking senders in a BTinternet account when the account is being used via Outlook Express

Hi all,

I have a btinternet address and therefore a btinternet account.

When talking to Steve nutt the other day he told me that btinternet does not like the comproom.co.uk part of his work e-mail address, consequently he said I needed to unblock his address in blocked senders or some such area so that he can safely send me e-mails and I can send them to him.

My questions are the following.

1. , as I use Outlook Express for e-mail rather than the btinternet web mail, do I have to go on to the btinternet website to unblock Steve.

2. If so, does anyone know exactly where I need to go to do this.

Thank you all in advance.
