Thanks Martin and Hugh on your thoughts on Win SP2 and the accessibility. I'm now thinking that I'm safest to upgrade my version of zoomtext before install SP2. i contacted tech support at AISquared and they say they've come across minor problems with sp2 and zoomtext. However, they'll be releasing an update to cure all that. Well, as I'm on version 8.0 and not 8.1 + I'll have to upgrade. If there are minor problems with the current version of ZT, I don't wanna chance any problems with the old version I'm using. I'm in no hurry to get sp2 anyway. Installing it with jaws did not throw up the warned of problems. norton internet security threw up an error and was disabled, even when the xp firewall was disabled. This meant no protection and after a failed attempt to uninstall norton internet security, I restored my system to a time before I installed sp2. I also had the LU1803 error, on live update, which went away when I uninstalled sp2. So, all in all, I'm pretty unimpressed with microsoft. I had installed the norton patch for sp2 before I installed sp2, so I think I did everything right before I installed sp2. > > Just my thoughts on maybe the first build of sp2. > > hth > hope to hear from you soon. > > from martin > > if you want to contact me, please email: > > m.wilsher@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > or martin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx co.uk > > thanks. > > Please visit my website: > www.btinternet.com/~m.wilsher > ** Going on holiday and want to halt messages?
