I haven't been following this thread but,

I haven't seena registry cleaner that wasn't, "uh hem", "Accessible".

Let's see what do I use,

Reg Scrub For XP And 2K
RegistryOptimiser 2.5.3
Registry Mechanic

The registry isn't as scarry a place as lots of people think, so learning to
adjust things by hand is much safer than letting a piece of software do
everything.

Hi Graham,

I was just about to ask the same question. I was wondering how one can make
the assumption that the registry is at fault. It ain't necessarily so.

Hi Graham,

I have checked the system with spybot search and destroy and can not find
any spyware.

Having tried to read the error that comes up, I am certain that the problem
is in the registry, hence my original post.
