Well, on the point of sky talker, I voted tonight with my feet smiles! I
mean, yes, I fully understand and apreciate the R & D which has gone into
the unit but for sky to market a unit which will only give you basic
information on the programme which you are on and on which ever channel you
move to, and not give you any access to the EPG, or to the planner for
recorded programmes I think is more of an insult to VI people. This
information came directly from Sky so it's not second guessing. If it was
maybe 20 quid or so then perhaps, but to shelve out £70 in addition to your
standard package price is ridiculous!

Yes ted it certainly was. And I for one can't believe some of the folks on
here that were taken in. A couple, no prises for guessing who, of course
were only too quick to believe. But come on guys, a device to tell you if
your telly's on or off!

It was a wind up! Umm, wasn't it?

Hi Damon,

Sorry, but I don’t believe your mate. What would be the point of a box
to tell you when the TV is on and off? Get real.

Let’s wait until it appears shall we?

All the best

Steve

Hi.

I've got a mate at Sky who tells me that the new Sky Talker doesn't read
the EPG, it won't let you record, it actually can't tell you what
channel you're on but it does tell you if your television is on or off.
But not if you've got HD.
