Sam, I think it's about 20 or it could be 40 quid, not sure now, but haven't as
yet bought it! You can get a trial version that ceases to fundtion after
several thousand key strokes, then the licence has to be bought, but I haven't
run out of key strokes yet! <smile>

Terry - don't know which phone you're using, but with the newer ones that
have MMC cards, you could keep the file as an MP3, and not worry about the
space it takes up on the card. I tend to use Goldlwave to split an existing MP3
file, so I just have the 30 seconds or so of time, that the phone gives to
ringing; Goldwave is great for this, because you can merge separate files or
edit one file in the way you desire, and really personalise that ring tone!

      Hi all

Does anyone know of any jfw friendly software that can be used to convert
mp3 files to ring tones, for a mobile?

      Thanks for any help.

      Terry
