Terry - don't know which phone you're using, but with the newer ones that have
MMC cards, you could keep the file as an MP3, and not worry about the space it
takes up on the card. I tend to use Goldlwave to split an existing MP3 file, so
I just have the 30 seconds or so of time, that the phone gives to ringing;
Goldwave is great for this, because you can merge separate files or edit one
file in the way you desire, and really personalise that ring tone!

Subject: [access-uk] ring tones
Hi all
Does anyone know of any jfw friendly software that can be used to convert mp3
files to ring tones, for a mobile?
Thanks for any help.
Terry
