Oh right, thanks for that Steve. And you don't sell it then?Is it any better on the Internet than TALKS? I've used TALKS on the N91 and it jumps all over the place on Vodafone Live, but it's doable if you have a bit of patience. You've got to hit the select pretty quickly when it says focused link or it will dance to somewhere else.

Hi jackie,The latest version of Mobile Speak, 3.32, does work on the N95 8GB, so theygot there before Talks for the official release. George, to clarify, TALKS is currently not working properly on the N95 8GB version, but works happily on the standard unit. Steve says there is a problem with TALKS hanging when the phone boots just now, which is in the process of being rectified. I don't honestly know if the same applies toMobile Speak on the 8GB though as I've never encountered that software yet.Jackie ----- Original Message ----- From: "George Bell" <george@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, December 05, 2007 9:38 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: mobile speak?I thought you said TALKS didn't work on the N95? Hi Jackie, You are absolutely correct. And yes, they do co-exist, I have both on an N95, and they are happy so long as you turn one off, before turning the other on. Steve, to clarify then, Mobile Speak is licensed to one phone only on the Symbian platform? It works on the same phones as TALKS? and it costs £150 a go with £50 to upgrade from one version to another or from one phone to another? Additionally, do TALKS and Mobile Speak live happily on the same phone by unloading one and loading the other? I've never used MS so can't comment personally. This is true for MS forWindows, but notSymbian. MS for Symbian works the same way as Talks atthe moment, butthey are looking into changing it to the same model as theWindows version. All the best Steve -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx[mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On BehalfOf Jackie Cairns Sent: 04 December 2007 15:12 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: mobile speak? Hi Matt Could I just sneak in here and ask you a couple ofquestions please asyou use Mobile Speak? Firstly, what is the difference between it and TALKS,if you use both? And, secondly, is Mobile Speak any better on theInternet using amobile, for example, Vodafone Live? Using TALKS, I'vemanaged in thepast to download a couple of ringtones from VodafoneLive, but it isn'teasy because it's like Flash. I'm just curious as a comparison really. I do somevoluntary mobilephone training, and like to know these things forreference. Many thanks. Specifically it is the phones thatuse the sybian60operating system. There is a website that lists allofthe handsets, something like www.symbian.com, although there is alink from the Codefactory www.codefactory.es website. They are the firmthat makemobilespeak. If he has 3.25 then I would suggest he downloads thenext versionbeforehe installs it. My understanding is that the launchedv3.32 lastFriday, which was a bit annoying as I only upgraded tov3.25 a coupleofweeks ago.
