Hi Peter,

Can't argue with you, the same should be true on PCs as well, as Apple have
done. But that's not true either.

All the best

I didn't realise thatt was the case, but here is my 2 penny worth on this
subject. There is absolutely no reason why speech software could not be
installed on all s60 phones as standard. If you need it you turn it on, and
if not you don't. That as I said is my 2 penny worth on this matter.

Hi

A new licence is £150. I have just had to buy an upgrade licence for my new
handset, at £50.

You do have to buy a licence per handset unless you are using a Windows
phone. My understanding is that they have just changed the licencing for
this product, but they are not looking at changing the situation for s60
phones.

Thanks anyway Matt. What is the licence situation for Mobile Speak out of
interest? Is it like TALKS in that it's one copy per phone? And what does
it cost these days?

Much appreciated. It's only research on my part, but it's nice to have a
fair comparison in case I'm ever asked when training with people.
