     Hi to all,

Big thanks to everyone who provided the information on laptop keyboard
commands, it is going to take a bit of time to get used to it but I'll get
there eventually. Once again thanks!

  That's right.
  1. Press insert J to go to the jaws window.
  2. Press alt+O to activate options, and press enter on the first item which
is basics.
  3. Press L once for keyboard layout, then L again for laptop.
  4. Press enter to close the dialog.

    Hi

just to add to what Brian said, to activate the laptop keyboard layout go
to the "options" menu in JAWS and select "basics...", in that dialogue box
there is a combo box that you need to adjust.

I can't help you but you might do worse than to get an external number
pad which plugs into your laptop.

        Hi folks,

Following the demise of my desktop pc I have been presented with a new
laptop for Christmas, problem is for the life of me I can't find the keystroke
for the jaws curser! It's driving me nuts! I'm using jfw 4.5.1 with xp home. Any
help would be appreciated. Apparently this machine has something called
centrino technology, and is wireless ready, sadly this is just double dutch to
me, anyone who could explain these terms to me would help me enormously.
