When I was a university student I was also my own publisher being as none of
the books on my core list were available in an accessible format, Angel. This
has huge educational repercussions. 96% of books are not made available in an
accessible form. Audible is nice, agreed, but if only it had another 190
thousand books added to it every year so that I am able to have the same choice
as sighties.
Come on now, you don't really think this is a good situation and that blind
people are being amply served, surely.

Libraries give books for free because of their community obligation, not
because of a human rite any may have. Have you tried to get the books you seek
from sources like Audible.com. The people there have gone out of their way to
make their site and books accessible to us. There is no rational explanation
for stealing.
